What to wear for engagement photos?
I’m getting engagement pictures take soon and I can’t decide between this pink-and-brown striped sweater that I think is really cute, or this black kinda cardigan thing… if the black thing what should i wear underneath? suggestions for him also?
One crucial factor to what you should wear is based on where you are getting your pictures taken.
If they’re being taken outside, like at a beach or something. White would be a very complimenting color for the both of you. If it is at a beach you could wear a casual white dress and your mate can wear a white collard shirt unbuttoned at the top and a light-tone khaki pant.
If they’re being taken in a studio, I would agree with the answerer above me. Black may seem dull and typical, but it is a timeless color that the both of you can wear. If you decide to wear the pink sweater, your mate should be wearing something to compliment it. Say perhaps, a brown/neutral tone outfit. This can range anywhere from casual to dressy.

Just keep in mind that the photographer is there for you guys, so whatever you guys decide to wear, I’m sure he/she can work their way around it to make the photos absolutely perfect. Congrats on the engagement and the best of wishes to the both of you.
i would go with the black because its classic and simple, underneath the cardigan you could wear a colored or white lace cami, or tank, it would be really cute. i just received engagement pictures in the mail from my friend and they both wore the same colors and simple outfits and it looked really great. so i would go for a simple classic look, he could wear a button down shirt in any color that go with what your wearing. Also take into consideration your skin tones, and whether the pictures will be taken outside etc.

definitely go for something classic and simple… you don’t want people laughing at them in 20 years time… have you got a plain black fitted dress you can wear? with black heels, perfect.
